Psychopaths in Power and the Neighborhood Vampires

I found THIS while surfing the political news this morning, and found it to be one of the most interesting articles I had read in a long time, and definitely worth sharing. Not only does it echo my own thoughts regarding the state of affairs in the world today, but it contains crucial information about the psychology of certain individuals who walk among us, nearly invisible, like vampires who look just like us, but they are not, and they are dangerous.

I believe that the majority of people have no real knowledge of this and that many people actually KNOW someone who fits the description. But unless you have actually had to deal with someone like this first hand, you probably cannot appreciate the full extent of the deception OR the danger involved.

I have read that something like 90% of violent offenders in the prisons today are psychopaths. The proper term for this “disability” is “Antisocial Personality Disorder.” After reading this article I linked to, Google Antisocial Personality Disorder, and you may be horrified to realize that your neighbor, your “friend”, your business associate, or your significant other, is a psychopath.

I know a lot about them. I lived with a classic psychopath for 9 years. The psychological description reads as if the person who wrote it personally KNEW this individual. And having been subjected to living with someone like this, I have become rather acute at perceiving OTHERS who have the same condition.

To be fair, this is a MENTAL ILLNESS, and as such these individuals cannot HELP being like they are, but, alas, most people bitten by vampires did not wish for their fate…

In being able to recognize the “symptoms”, I have found that there is a particular individual that many of us know, who I will leave unnamed, (those in the know will know), who is very skilled at inserting himself into certain people’s lives, and has single handedly created some very bad situations for several people in this area and several other places in the state. This is a person who will “brother” and “sister” you with his false “kind hippie” act right from the start. The sort of guy who seems “too nice”… The kind who wears a costume of  tie-dyes and dreads, and plays the guitar and knows all the Grateful Dead songs by heart… The PERFECT recipe for inserting himself into places where he can obtain any illicit substance he so desires in order for his own financial and EGOCENTRIC gain. Which is the ultimate goal. He will make you like him, so that you will do things for him. Give him a place to stay, lend him money, feed him if he’s hungry. He constantly tries to “run” things, making a million suggestions designed to ultimately make you BEHOLDEN to him in some way. He takes delight in doing that which he knows is not acceptable and is skilled at having two faces. He lies and hides things behind people’s backs, he takes things that are not his, he seems not to grasp REALITY of any kind but his own. He plays with words all the time and is a professional “tell-em-what-they-wanna-hear” kind of guy, so he is always trying to confuse folks into thinking that the bad stuff he does is really OK. I call it “pretzel logic”… The CLASSIC  example of the pushy and fast talking used car salesman who could sell a drowning man an anchor, while leaving you standing there wondering what he just said…

And unfortunately, it seems like most folks are not educated in psychology enough to realize they are being worked like so many puppets in a toy store.

Those of us who are already aware that we need to be vigilant about this type of individual, once DISCOVERING one and TAKING THEIR POWER from them, they begin to become insane acting and dangerous and have a tendency to do things like cause big scenes, play with guns, make huge threats like “I’ll burn your house down” (or “I’ll bomb your village…”), inflict bodily harm to THEMSELVES or OTHERS…

I’m sure after reading and researching this many of you will discover the information to be invaluable on a personal level. These are the true VAMPIRES. And they walk among us.

Illegal Pill Trade Rampant – Beware Calhoun and Roane

A great big heads up to those who think they are somehow “COOL” by being involved in this prescription drug scam. Did you know that MANY big pharmaceutical companies are funded and run by POLITICIANS? Did you know that it is common for doctors to own stock in pharmaceutical companies? Did you know that there is even a “conspiracy theory” in which it would seem that the goal is to get everyone medicated one way or another in order to “control” the masses?

Did you know that a lot of the more recent prescription meds being handed out are still experimental? That is, they really DON’T know what the long term effects might be. So, have you given up and simply don’t care? Do you even give a damn that you might be trading in something that could harm or kill someone? Do you give a damn that you are supporting the very things that cause you so many problems in life that you wish to be ANESTHETIZED rather than face it?

Do you give a rats ass that you are in effect SUPPORTING the police in this state by continuing to play this stupid pill game? And do you care AT ALL that you are bringing HEAT on those who you associate with simply by being involved in the pill trade and then associating with others who may not wish to be involved?

There used to be a time when even the “heads” did not use pills! Those awful folks known as HIPPIES already knew, many, many years ago, that pills and white powders were NOT acceptable. Those were things that only lowlifes and bums did. In those circles it was something that was simply NOT DONE. Believe it or not, there are STILL many people who feel the same way. Because it is no different now, just more prevalent.

I am here to say that no one here at the Underground supports this rampant pill trade, either illegal OR legal! It is sickening to say the least, and the sentiment is so strong in this neighborhood that should any visitors here be found for certain to be involved in some kind of illegal pill trade, they will be ASKED TO LEAVE.

Having said that, read and weep:

Indictments sign of problem with prescription drugs By DAVID HEDGES Publisher – More than a fourth of the indictments returned by a Roane grand jury last week involved the alleged sale or use of prescription drugs. Six Spencer residents were charged with felony offenses ranging from selling drugs they had legally obtained by prescription to “doctor shopping,” or visiting different physicians to obtain prescriptions.

“It’s the biggest drug problem we have in Roane County, and we haven’t even scratched the surface,” Cpl. F.L. Hammack of the State Police detachment in Spencer, who presented the prescription drug cases to the grand jury, said. Hammack said the problem starts and ends at the same place — in the doctor’s office. “Some doctors in Roane County are really working hard to make a difference,” he said. “But others are just turning their head.”

Prescription painkillers such as oxycodone account for most fatal overdoses in West Virginia, according to a government study. About two-thirds of those who die from overdoses in the state don’t have a prescription, a figure that leads the nation, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Drug overdoses are now the second-leading cause of unintended deaths in the U.S. behind auto accidents. The problem is worse in rural areas.

The CDC has studied drug abuse in West Virginia and found that overdose rates have risen 550 percent in a five-year period. Of the nearly 300 people who died from overdoses in 2006, 63 percent used drugs. “Doctors who write these prescriptions might as well be loading a gun,” Hammack said. Every licensed doctor and pharmacist in West Virginia has access to information about the prescriptions their patients are receiving, according to Hammack.

Police officers must be certified to have access to that information. Other officers, including Hammack, work with those officers to investigate prescription cases. But he said the best answer is to prevent the drugs from being abused in the first place. “It’s just something we’ll have to work on until people get the message,” he said.

Those indicted last week on prescription drug cases were: ν Mary Carpenter, 44, of Reservoir St. for possession with intent to deliver and delivery of oxycodone and hydrocodone. An informant allegedly purchased the pills at her home in 2004 and 2007. ν Christina Carpenter, 34, of Arnoldsburg Road for delivery of mood altering drugs Ativan and Seroquel, possession with intent to deliver and two counts of obtaining controlled substance by fraud. Police allege she obtained prescriptions from two doctors and sold to an informant. ν Kevin Schroeder, 47, of State Street for delivery of oxycodone and possession with intent to deliver. Police allege an informant purchased the pain reliever from Schroeder at his home in June. ν Herbert Cobb, 49, and Robin Zayed, 47, both of High Street for two counts each of delivery of hydrocodone, possession with intent to deliver and obtaining a controlled substance by fraud and six counts of conspiracy. The charges allege an informant purchased the drug from the couple in June. ν Summer Black, 30, of General Woods Drive for eight counts each of obtaining a controlled substance by fraudulent pretenses and obtaining additional controlled substances from a practitioner, also known as doctor shopping. The charges allege she obtained prescriptions for pain relievers from several different physicians and a dentist. An indictment by a grand jury is not a determination of guilt, only a finding that jurors felt there was enough evidence to allow the cases to come to trial.

Hammack said the recent indictments might just be the start. “Everyone on the detachment is working an active prescription drug case right now,” he said. “There will be more arrests and more indictments.”

—————————————————————————–

Now, just to be real here, let me say that the pill problem is just going to keep on going as long as it’s legal for doctors and politicians to be involved, as long as people are willing to lie and cheat, and as long as the doctors make them available. But the police can do absolutely nothing, simply because they are the police, and there is scant respect for police around here. Especially from anyone who might be construed in some way to be “breaking the law”. They can arrest people all day long and scare a few and talk a few into being rats, but they can’t stop people from the DOING of it. Just the opposite actually. Just spend enough time being messed with by the cops and you are sure to want to do SOMETHING just to spite them…

So. I think it’s high time for people’s actual PEERS to stand up to them and say enough is enough. Not some preacher, or right-wing-goody-two-shoes granny in high heals and a business suit, but those folks who people just might actually look UP to, within their own “culture”. Those are the people that MIGHT get listened to and MIGHT be able to effect some real positive change. There’s much to be said for “shunning” (google it) and maybe it’s high time that more of us REAL folks start standing up to this nonsense once and for all.

Don’t wait for the cops to fix the problem, get involved yourself.

Border “Security” Causes Local Feed Shortages

Area farmers might get a bad surprise the next time they go to the feed store to buy feed for their livestock. With all the “new and improved” border security between the United States and Canada, some shipments of feed are being held up for as long as 3 weeks at a time. Which means that the local feed stores, particularly Southern States as of yesterday, are finding it difficult to impossible to stock enough various necessary animal feeds. The realities of Bush’s border security ideas may mean that some of your livestock will end up going hungry this winter while you are either forced to hurriedly purchase nonexistent hay for upwards of $3.00 to $6.00 a bale, or quickly sell off your animals for a big loss. The dry spell during last summer caused there to be a shortage of hay, and a quick scan of the Trading Post or the Market Bulletin will show that there is very little hay to be had without going to Ohio… One would imagine that they are capitalizing on the situation because they too experienced the drought of ’07.
This could be one more nail in the coffin of the “small farmer” in West Virginia, already pushed to the back burner by large agri-buiz farms owned by corporations from out of country.

I watched family farms, as a child, go belly up one by one because of lower market value of their products and always higher cost for necessities to run those farms. Those who went to the bank to satisfy their needs ended up selling their souls to a system that took them even farther down the tubes. Only the very creative and alternative thinking farmers have been able to stay afloat along with their debt ridden counterparts. On my dad’s dairy farm, we could not afford to raise our own meat, or make our own butter, or barely even drink our own milk because everything we had needed to be sold to make ends meet. And then we could not afford to buy these things at the store either. I can only imagine that it must be even harder now. Farming for a small farmer has become an expensive hobby at best unless they can figure out ways of getting around the many usual expenses.

So, it begins? The prices on staple foods at the grocery store go steadily up. The jobs go steadily bye-bye. The price of gas goes up. Supplies begin to run low due to border security. The roads fall apart and the taxes go up. People loose their jobs and can’t pay the taxes or the price of gas. Mortgages go past due. The banks own more and more of our homes and possessions. Everybody’s trying to sell their land and homes, but nobody’s buying because everybody is in the same boat. King Coal and our government “leaders” run roughshod over the citizens  of West Virginia, using the buddy system, while trying to scare everyone with words like “unemployment” so they won’t protest the state being sold out and destroyed by them in their hurry to grab the goods and run. Many of  the so-called financial experts are saying we are getting ready to have a depression that makes the first one look like a long holiday.

Revolution anyone?

…Viva La rEVOLution ! noituLOVEr aL aviV…
Now might be a good time to learn some survival skills and find some alternative transportation. Form alliances with your neighbors…
Grow a big garden, and like a repeat of the late 60’s-early 70’s, get “back to the land.”

Huge “Criminal” Meth Ring Finally Recieves WV “Justice”

*Warning: Information in this article was obtained from various sources which at this time can not be “officially” verified. Many allegations made here are considered “hearsay”. Much of this information has been provided by persons who were under the influence of meth at the time, and therefore questionable (even tho the police RELY on such information in order to make arrests.) Some of it was discovered inadvertently, some educated guesses, and some common knowledge.

FIRST, the media report, which originates at the police level.

Huge “Criminal” Meth Ring Finally Recieves WV “Justice”
SIX ROANE METH MAKERS SENTENCED TO FEDERAL PRISON – Group Facing 40 Years

(01/12/2008)
A number of Roane County residents are facing lengthy prison terms for manufacturing meth.

A Spencer man has been sentenced to 70 months in prison for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.

David Rhodes, 46, was sentenced Friday by Chief United States District Judge Joseph R. Goodwin after Rhodes pleaded guilty on Sept. 6, 2007, admitting to the federal drug charge.

The conviction is related to an investigation conducted by the West Virginia State Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

The investigation revealed that Rhodes had engaged in a large scale methamphetamine production ring in Roane County and the surrounding area from 2003 to September 2006, according to federal officials.

Other residents convicted as a result of this investigation were Robert Michael Depue, sentenced to 84 months in prison; Chadrick L. Rogers, sentenced to 96 months in prison; Clyde McQuain, sentenced to 78 months in prison; Daniel Richard Turner, sentenced to 106 months in prison, and Christopher Coe, sentenced to 60 months in prison.

The CUFFED Fugitive Task Force arrested Rhodes early last year and charged him with making and distributing meth.

He was arrested, at that time, with two other Roane residents, Jennifer Conley, 36, and Larry McCormick, 58, of Roane County.

Conley and McCormick were both charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.

Authorities said Rhodes has an “extensive criminal history” that includes making and distributing meth in the Spencer area.

In January, 2005, reports said Robert Michael DePue, then 26, of Gandeeville, pled guilty to conspiracy to manufacture meth and possessing a firearm during a drug trafficking crime.

DePue was charged with making more than five grams of meth in 2004.

Chadrick L. Rogers of Newton, had been indicted on three charges in connection with using or carrying a firearm, allegedly in relation to trafficking methamphetamine.

Rogers and others allegedly knowingly and intentionally manufactured a quantity of methamphetamine, according to the United States Court in the Southern District of West Virginia in Huntington.

The court said in count two, he “did knowingly use and carry and brandish a firearm,” a J.P. Sauer and Sohn .357 magnum revolver, in relation to the drug trafficking crime.

Rogers allegedly possessed the firearm related to interstate commerce and possessed the firearm after he had been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.

In 2004, the Times Record/Roane County Reporter, reported Clyde Earl McQuain, 50, and Kathern M. Craft, 39, were both charged with operating a clandestine drug lab after eight officers from three agencies entered their home at 6838 Clay Road.

Roane Sheriff Todd Cole said Craft was found in the basement where the lab was located. McQuain was in another part of the home.

Cole said items found in the home indicate the operation was not a new one. “It looked like they had been doing it for some time.”

Cole said employees of two local businesses, Wal-Mart and Go-Mart, where items to manufacture methamphetamine were purchased, helped tip off police.

“Without their help, we wouldn’t have gotten enough information to get a search warrant,” said Cole, according to the paper.

The federal grand jurors also indicted a Roane County man, charging him with having methamphetamine ingredients and illegally having firearms. In 2006, officials said Christopher Coe, then 33, of Spencer, had the meth-making materials.

Grand jurors alleged Coe had a 9 mm semiautomatic pistol in his possession while manufacturing the drug, with six other guns in his possession, despite a March 2000 conviction for burglary in Marion County.

He had been ordered not to possess firearms as a felon.

The six jail sentences for meth making are among more than 100 investigations, arrests and convictions in Roane County.

————————————-

First of all, unofficially, Mr. David Rhodes, whose “extensive criminal history” that includes making and distributing meth in the Spencer area”, is something which is NOT on record and would also be considered “hearsay”. Altho Dave Rhodes has in fact been a well known drug dealer for years in the Roane County area, dabbling in large amounts of Cocaine, Crack, and Meth, allegedly with hidden ties to TERRY WILLIAMS the mayor of Spencer, he has been allowed to continue for at least 30 years up until the present. There would be very little actual documentation of his “extensive criminal history” due to the fact that he has not been officially charged with ANYTHING up until these latest meth charges.

Many allegations by several individuals connected with Dave Rhodes include one common theme. It has been stated by many that Dave Rhodes was in fact the RING LEADER of this meth “ring” in the Roane County area, allegedly charging individuals for teaching them how to cook meth, setting them up with meth labs, and either helping to distribute the product or taking a cut of the profits. Other allegations and evidence points to his brother, DEAN RHODES, as having been involved in the CALHOUN COUNTY meth “ring”. At one point, the State Police were dispatched to Dean Rhodes’s home in the Millstone area in relation to a robbery. Altho it appears that there was an ACTIVE meth lab there at the time (some days you could smell it while driving by his house), the police knocked on his door and when there was no answer, they left and did not go back. The uninhabited house that was robbed was searched extensively by police and it was discovered that there had been a meth lab THERE as well. However, even tho there were eye witnesses to the removal of stolen property, no one was ever charged with the robbery OR the meth lab. And even tho police took statements regarding the facts of the robbery, no search warrant was ever issued for the  Dean Rhodes residence…

Does anyone smell fish?

The other individuals whose lives have been ruined by a drug which I don’t believe anyone realized was so horribly addictive and distructive, are now being sentenced to longer terms than the individuals who helped them to get so firmly entrenched in the meth business for one reason and one reason only. MONEY…

I believe that THESE money and power-hungry individuals are the actual CRIMINALS. The others, those who got longer sentences, are VICTIMS. Victims of the RHODES “gang”, victims of the drug, victims of the police, and now victims of the “legal system”. But thru all this, what has actually been done to HELP these victims? And look at how much TIME has gone by since they were caught! Time enough to completely change a way of life and get back on the right track. But unfortunately, this is not the way it works, and no matter HOW much better these people are, they STILL must be punished AGAIN, by being incarcerated for YEARS, even tho some of them have been out of jail for YEARS awaiting their sentencing and have not caused a single problem. Why? Because they are NOT criminals. Perhaps they were rebellious, perhaps naive, maybe ignorant of the severe health consequences until it was too late, perhaps suffering from lack of money to pay the bills. They were MANIPULATED and USED by people who KNEW what they were doing, and then INFORMED ON by someone who HELPED put them in that situation, so that he could get less “time”. Someone please tell me, WHERE is the justice???

Kidnapping suspect Caught

“Seth” Denmark, one of the alleged kidnappers of three young girls, has finally been captured. You heard it first here…
